Golf Course Aerial Photography

I have unique experience of golf course aerial photography, filming and photographing many golf courses.  I started using helicopters in 2006 and then moved to using drones from 2012. My main business for over 20 years was operating, building and maintaining golf courses at the highest level.

Since I sold my property and leisure company I have used this experience to develop four distinctive types of golf course photography.

  1. Smooth one take video fly-throughs of each hole.
  2. Perfect Par Round – This is where our drones following flight of each shot from tee to green for the perfect par round.
  3. 360 aerial panoramas and 3d virtual tour from above the clubhouse and golf course showing the spectacular bird eye 360 view from 60+ metres above the ground.
  4. 360 ground panoramas and 3d virtual tours for each green.

When videos or photographs from my golf course aerial photography are used on clients website, advertising or social media marketing, they increase the time the potential customers spend on their websites while enhancing the viewers experience.

Hotel and Leisure Photography

The use of aerial images for hotels and leisure using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) can now really show the sports, leisure, and tourism industries from an exciting and affordable viewpoint, previously only available from expensive helicopter or manned aircraft shoots.

My drones will fly from ground level up to 400 feet at up to speeds of 49 mph for up to 30 minutes on one battery, so the aerial footage I am able to record over land, sea, beaches, coastline, rivers, beautiful countryside, property and urban areas is stunning.

I have passed the CAA-approved exams and flight assessments and hold the established industry Remote Pilot Qualification (RPQ-s) for multi-rotor aircraft under 7kg.

I have the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) “Permission for Commercial Operation” PfCO which means, as a licensed commercial operator of UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles) I am governed and regulated by the CAA.  I also have the latest CAA A2 Certificate of Competency and GVC drone qualifications.
